  7. How come when both Gaza and the West Bank (Judea/Samaria) were in the hands of both Egypt and Jordan- Not once did we hear the Arab world, the Islamic world or even the United Nations- shout or declare that they should be part of a Palestinian state?
For 17 years the refugees in those areas were kept as pawns in a political vacuum.
As for Gaza- It rules itself. Prior to Hamas winning an election (Over 8years ago and never holding another) There was no blockade- 11000 rockets into Israel caused the blockade.
And yet New hotels, restaurants and swimming pools have been built in Gaza city recently- whilst Hamas officials drive around in new Mercedes.

There is only one side. Israel are the oppressors of the Palestinians, they occupy their land, they steal its resources and commit human rights abuses against its people, they murder them, imprison them illegally in Israel, they abuse children, they give them no legal representation, they knock down their houses and generally ethnically cleanse them from their own land.
Israel is a rogue nation and it will lose in the end. I expect it to become like South Africa in a few year time, outcast. It better change it ways, the clock is ticking.

Only some 30,000 Palestinians remain of those who fled their homes in 1948 & thus could genuinely be counted as refugees.
Uniquely only the descendants of Palestinians are classed as refugees, thereby ensuring that their numbers keep rising. In contrast to refugees elsewhere where successive generations are absorbed into their host societies.

The descendants of Palestinian refugees are being cynically exploited in the war to delegitimise Israel. They are denied citizenship & basic rights in other Arab states and subjected to a form of apartheid in which for example, they are barred from working in certain professions and denied services other citizens can access.

By the same yardstick Israel also has millions of ‘refugees’ - those descended from the 850,000 Jewish refugees who were forced to flee their homes in Arab lands after the State of Israel was established. Yet these people were simply absorbed into Israeli society.
And would the so-called ‘siege of Gaza’ have anything to do with the fact that since the Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 some 14,000 rockets have been fired into Israeli communities by Gazan terrorist groups with the sole purpose of maiming and killing innocent civilians? Surely not!
And to those who support a right of return for millions of ‘Palestinian refugees’. This is no more realistic than for the descendants of Greek refugees to return to their ancestral homes in Turkey from which their families were forced to leave in the early part of the 20th century.
The real cause of this conflict has nothing to do with refugees but with hatred for an infidel state established on land deemed to be Muslim Land.

Hence the rejection by the Arab leadership of the UN Partition Plan in 1947 and the refusal up to the present day by Fatah to recognise Israel as the homeland of the Jewish people.

And all this while demanding a Palestinian homeland in which not a single Jew will be allowed to live – while all Israel’s Arab citizens enjoy equality under the law!

It’s time for the delusional, hypocritical Left endlessly peddling the same historical distortions about this conflict to see their role for what it really is - not for what they believe it to be.
